2001 1.0 not starting?

Hi folks not sure if it's the right section or not but I went to look at a project for myself last night and upon arrival I found out it wasn't starting,from what the current owners father said the batteries fully charged,they thought it might be key batteries but nope,anyone had this problem? And what's the cause?

Does it click when it try turning it over?
Cause if non starting-
Many lol.
Some main ones-
Starter motor
Imobilizer
No fuel
Wrong fuel
Spark plugs fouling
Engine seized
Fault battery

Well from what was said the battery was taken out at some point,would that maybe cause a problem with the immobiliser? As can't get anything from it when turning the key

If it was the immobiliser, it would at least turn over. I've got two keys, one official NATS and the other is non-official. The immobiliser knocked off the non-official key and I know from ear what the difference is.

When it's an immobiliser fault, the car turns over but you don't hear the characteristic ignition sound when the fuel is ignited. Basically, it sounds like nothing but the starter motor turning.

Have you checked the spark plugs for fouling? Is the air filter clean and unobstructed?
