maybe the tacho dash was an option in uk for auto LX/SLX but not in AU or SuperS was avaliable with auto over there?, or maybe JDM gauges can be used with a rewire(the jap cars tend to use different pins in the plugs than the uk models)

Yeah the car probably has over 300,000km's on the clock and they swapped it out for a low km cluster.

did SuperS's come as autos? If not, what micra would have had an auto and a tacho dash?

Interesting that this hasn't sold yet, it does appear to be good value despite the obvious issues...
