Brief Vehicle History

Here is a neat little car that you certainly don't see very often. It really draws a crowd at "Cars and Coffee" or at your local cruise-in and at car shows. The right hand drive is a real hoot as well and very easy to adapt to. This is a 1987 Nissan Be-1 Convertible Coupe. As you can see in the pictures and videos, the condition is very good with all components working as they should. It even has a recorded message at the touch of a button located on the center console that greets you with good morning...in Japanese of course.
It's powered by a 1.0 litre naturally aspirated engine that starts and runs very well. The three speed automatic transmission shifts through the gears as it should with no problems. The AC and heat work great along with the power cloth convertible roof. The brakes stop the car in a straight line. There is a squawking noise from the rears (drum) from having been in storage since fall last year which should go away after being driven. It does smoke a little upon start up being a carbureted engine. The car still has over 90% original paint which shines very well. It currently has 70,000 miles/112,500 kilometers on it.
Last summer I had the wheels painted charcoal gray and added chrome lug nuts. I didn't put these wheel covers back on it, but they will come with the car. It's your preference if you want use them.
Also included is the original owners manual and a Haynes Repair Manual as well as the original wheel with spare tire and jack with tools.
There are several touch ups on the hood and left rear quarter panel.
Please look at all the pictures and videos as they tell the whole story.
In summary, this is a very nice, easy driving comfortable little car that's easy to maintain and inexpensive to operate. Quite the head turner!
Thanks for looking, and if you have any questions I'll email you back very quickly.
