100/55w bulbs

Hi all- just wondering if anyone has ever tried fitting 100/55w headlight bulbs, i have and the results were not good- with poor lighting and poorly spread, I was wondering if i have to change or alter anything to get the full benefits of these bulbs thanks -- Doug

I havn't fitted them to a micra, but have used them in other cars and they have been impressive. Make sure it is seated properly so it is alighned correctly.
BUT - Micras seem to have a habit of melting the plug which goes onto the bulb. I would think 100W bulb may hasten this
