1.3 Rear Disc Conversion

I have a december 98 facelift k11 and want convert to discs on the back. Plan on doing trackdays soon and would be nice to have discs all round. Just curious as to whats involved in doing this. Will almera or similar parts swap over ?

Do i need a whole axle,

yes, as it is more hassle than it is worth to convert one

you do need the whole axel unless you are planning to weld the mounts on yourself. then Matt H can get you the mounts.

you need:

disk mounts
Calipers
pads
disks
new handbrake cables

and i think you need the brake biast recalibrating, cos the disks brake better.

i dont think its worth the effort, i'll just keep going as is for now. I aint really got much spare time now with building the new house
