OK interesting that. Could be my needle a bit inaccurate too!I remember when I removed and drained the tank after the needle went red and the light came on there was bout over 6L left
The most I ever got was 415 miles in one full tank, with very very eco drive. LOTS of coasting and drafting. Was so boring! in a 1.3 and still had a bit of fuel left

the remaining 6L is cos thats the minimum amount of fluid required to float and move the buoyant fuel level sender arm to register on the gauge
Yes, although how much of that 6l is usable fuel and not water/crud will be a bit of a lottery
You're not really going to get dirty fuel nowadays. Cleaning the tank is just messy and a waste of time unless the filler pipe has corroded and water or rust has entered.Empty and steam clean yes, dunno how often is a good amount though, depends how dirty the fuel you get is.
You'd be surprised, theres a reason cars still come with fuekll filters ehYou're not really going to get dirty fuel nowadays. Cleaning the tank is just messy and a waste of time unless the filler pipe has corroded and water or rust has entered.
They're just particulate filters really. I've never seen a truly dirty fuel filter. You'd be surprised, theres a reason cars still come with fuekll filters eh
Hi can someone tell me what the real world mpg figures are for a manual 1.3 K11 Micra ?
Thank you.
Particulates accumulate in the bottom of the fuel tank over time...They're just particulate filters really. I've never seen a truly dirty fuel filter.
