1.3 CVT Tuning Possibilities

Hi guys, I’ve got a 1.3 CVT that I’d like to upgrade. I’d like to improve engine performance and handling, could you recommend any good modifications to start me off? Basic stuff is preferred, like lowering kits, engine parts etc that can be done without too much hassle Thanks!

(I’d like to know how much power the CVT ‘box can handle too, if anyone could let me know that would be fab!)

I don´t know about improving the CVT performance.
Otherwise there are plenty of threads talking about improving handling and engine performance.
Cheap and easy options:
-1.6/1.4 Almera airbox swap
-Lowering springs kit (H&R and Apex have 30mm kits)
-Decat (If you cant get cheap headers and exhaust)
-Good tires and adding sway bars (If your model doesn´t have)
-Weight saving (Speakers, Doorcards and rear seats for example)

The cvt will hold the basic mods just fine. A good exhaust manifold will give some more power. And lowering springs or coilovers will upgrade the handling. A strut brace will also help a bit.

Best improvement will come from putting on 195's followed by anti roll.
