1.2 and 1.0 carbs

hi

ive been having a think,

i have the 1.2 super s as you probably know and the egr is removed with the two pipes etc, i have bought the standard inlet without the egr gubbins on the inlet and following the MSC guide to remove the EGR, i obtained the 1.0l carb free with the manifold and was wondering if this was better / worse than the 1.2 carb as i belive the 1,2 is electronically controlled?

will the 1.0 carb fit into the loom of would there be a lot of work

the carb on the super s is still basicly the same carb as other k10s just with some extra bits on it like the air/fuel solenoid etc as there are only 4 wires that go to the standard carb im sure you could just get a wiring diagram see which 4 wires you need connect to 1.0 carb and would run although you would have some unused wires lying around and i dont know wether that would damage the ecu. also the 1.0 has bigger jets than a normal 1.2 carb hope this helps
