1.0 vs 1.2

I have been having a heated discussion with somone about the micra k10 engines.

I am hopeing to change my 1.2 ECC carb for a weber and custom inlet and 421 outlet which i have been recommended my a local tuning garage who have been tuning nissans for 15 years.

my friend 'claims' that i would have been better off doing all the above work to my old 1.0l as it has a higher compression and i would get more BHP than if i did it to my 1.2?

question, if i was doing the inlet and outlet would i get more bhp from a 1 or 1.2 ?

1.2 ftw, especially with a 2mm headskim

I think the mods would give the same increase whatever the engine, so seeing as it's a 1.2, i'd do that one (10bhp more).

i just want something that i can say i have made its not about the speed or anything tbh which is the impression my friend has got, i just want my car to be personal to me

in that case: ANY of the MA engines (or anything else for that matter) will do....


This Is why I used my 1.0 to add the nitrous to.....

but indeed.....any mod that gives you x percent increaqse will always be head to head better from a more capable reference
