does anyone know where to get a hold of a pair of brand new inner steering arms/ends. i'm getting fed up with the vague feeling my steering has, and the track rod ends were done about 2000 miles ago. i want to avoid paying $40 plus shipping plus import tax from Ameeerica.

well its a first gen individual coil per cylinder engine so its likely to overheat the coils and burn them out from time to time.

im getting to the point now where i'm going to strengthen the trailing arms and mounts and just remove the panhard rod. its not like we want sideways movement in rear suspension.....

like you say Frank, its compromise between quality and expense..... i found i felt a bit of a difference from standard with bosch super 4s gapped to 2mm and these HT leads. but yes i would completely agree that sorting the timing out will be a much greater power improvement!

the meter leads are copper core with gold plate connectors as well. tested them on another meter this morning :) they read 0 ohms. theres not enough resistance for the meter to measure! either im doing it wrong or my multimeter isnt sensitivie enough, but ive done the tests a number of times and...

the shortest lead measured around 2.5K the longest was about 4.5K. same as the magnecor ones.

if youre going to do HT leads, get copper core ones, not magnecor leads. ive tested magnecor leads against standard leads and the resistance is near enough the same, between 2.5Kohm for the shortest to 4Kohm for the longest. i made my own copper core HT leads, and the entire 3M length i received...

i agree greenstuffs are great pads. theyre more expensive than the brembos though. greenstuffs are designed for smaller cars, so they heat up quickly. yellowstuffs are for mid size cars and powerful hatches on track. red stuffs are full on race pads and need to be really hot before theyve got...
