Well stripped it all out but the two spindles are shot..... took off the circlips and sealing rings ... tried to free up a bit .... but dead...... so all i am after is the two triangle spindle pieces that the wipers fit to (white plastic triangle with spindle to drive wipers going through it)...

I havent yet ........... had to do it on the other Micra and tried greasing it but it made no difference .. spose i could give it a go .... just in too hot to be bothered mode lol.

For a 1.0 1995 Micra 2 door .... in case it makes any difference.

Motors fine but need the rest of the assembly as mine is screeching.

Yeah I forgot that ...... last one was the SLX about 2 years ago ... that just went straight through its mot as well ....

Its a 1995 3 door btw ... Chap says the local garage will supply and fit a new front cross member for £100 ...... does that sound right to you ? He is a genuine bloke so not questioning him but thats seems bloody cheap to me ?

Just been to look at a 1.0 micra but wanted your views. Chap bought it from a lady at work for about £160. Its got 80k on it and is in average condition. few dents here and there ... just a basic spec 1.0l its had some welding on the rear drivers sill which looks a bit slapped on but seems...

As always the ones with the good tyres are 300 miles away lol

Thanks Rob I think i will leave it ... thing is i really just need 2 new tyres which will cost me £60 fitted (£40 if i forget the balancing) .... so thought if i could get a set for not much more than £60 it would be no more expensive ... but post kills that idea ... and kinda attached to my...

If that falls through let me know as I am after 2off 155s Tyres for my old shed ... but these might be an option and could collect tomorrow. If they are not sold can you let me know the Tyre width and rough amount of tread left on the tyres ... sorry ... skint as everyone else as the moment so...

What size are the alloys and are the tyres any good ? Assume a bit kerbed doesnt mean square ..... sorry has someone describe a bike wheel like that once and it was square:rolleyes: Thanks

Also would 40mm work with the 15" wheels without rubbing etc ?

I am guessing that the main problem is that the OE springs are very flexible hence all the roll .... ... and add to that they are 17 years old .... where would i get 40mm springs from ... can you pick up springs from other cars that are 40mm that fit and finally are they a biach to fit ...

Ok fitted the 15" Ameria wheels ... cool .. now its like a 4x4 lol Seriously ... pleased with the wheels and no issues BUT the body roll .... got to improve it cos its hard to know exactly where your going to exit a corner presently..... lol So I am not looking to spend silly money ... big...
