The ecu sends a trigger to the transistor in the unit. there is feedback via a resistor that plugs into the side of the coil. Some tacho units do not work with the trigger or the feedback signal as the voltage is not high enough. I've had this problem with omex shift light units.

Your car has coil pack and the same connectors as posted above? If so that something I wasn't aware of. I thought all K11s with coil packs had the newer bosch plugs... Anyhow. Your tacho is expecting a higher voltage breakdown from an ignition coil. Its not designed for cars with coil packs...

Auto will work. It has its own ecu.

All the early ECUs (Rectangle shape) share same pins and have no immobiliser within them.

Well done Baz, for some reason I thought you had taken all the pistons out etc too. You need to check that compression really. Sadly that does mean taking piston no.3 out. Oranje, 160whp is not reliable from stock. Been there done that etc. Stock/figaro headgasket will not take that.

That ecu if you won it will work fine.

Any nissan Micra ECU the same physical shape will work

Turbosmart WAY WAY overpriced. Not used AEM ones. They look basic.

Gizzmo are best VFM. I've supplied and fitted loads now.
