Yeah it's normal, it's the power steering.

According to Nissan4u, the K11 used a TD15 diesel engine. Not sure what Car that's from but you could get a K11 manual for most things and a manual from the car with that engine to use for the engine side of things

I have no idea to be honest. Joesouthgate fitted power steering to his non power steering SR so its possible. But we had converted this rack from PAS to Non-PAS ( supposedly better)

We had that exact problem on a 1.8 Almera N16 we bought. It was on 134K. Whats hte mileage on the Tino? It was throwing up faults for coilpack (changed them) problem still there, changed a faulty injector (helped a little bit) but then it flagged up cam sensor (changed that but to no avail)...
