Wicked frank thanks! What an idiot using exhaust paste I was. Will go and grab a sealant from halfords tomorrow - might even get it a bit cheaper with my trade card (which they gave me even though I have nothing to do with cars at my work :doh:)

cheers frank, knew you would bin it. As for the leaking coolant, whats the best way to seal it back up. Exhaust paste only seems to work when its hot, and by the time its hot the coolant has already made a hole through it.

Wonder if you guys can help me out with a few problems here: 1) I had a coolant leak, and as a result of that one of the coolant gaskets popped. It's where the top radiator hose connects to the engine block. Its bodged up atm with paste but still leaking a small amount. Where can I get a...

Is cutting a coil or two off FK 35/40mm springs a good idea? I know a few people on here have done it..

The coolant leak was very minor and only leaked drops when I squezzed it. When I wrapped it up and squeezed it, nothing leaked then so im hoping should be okay.

35k is very respectable. How much did this set you back? Let us all know when the dyno has been done

Few quick questions. Car is due for its MOT soon: - The seats and belts are all removed from the rear so it is totally empty. It has all the bolt holes still. Do these need to be blocked or are they fine to be left? - The lower coolant pipe has a small leak. I wrapped it in insulation tape...

I guess the one your buying is 10+ years old and 100k+ mileage? Would like to see a Dyno of your specific one and compare the results (Y)
