how similar are facelifts to pre-facelifts under the skin?...

I am no expert on k11 chassis but the cosmetic parts you can transfer and for the heater pipe inlet, I can't think of a reason why to change that. It's shell is basically and almost or 100% same. I don't expect dash mount problems you can not solve maybe none. It won't hurt tearing it up already...

Windscreen wipers struggle to move. Troubleshooting?

Those joints that hold the wiper arms are a weak spot on a k11. But the sound it makes doesn't tell me it are those. Still I replaced my own (those nuts might break the bolts or worse make it loose since it is metal bedded in plastic) and then the arms that run the wiper motor (those joints are...

Heavy vibration at the rear end

Stabilizer bushings perhaps or a about to fall off stabilizer? Your problem description sure sounds like it but don't blame me if it's fine there :)

    12v socket not working

I needed to sand it bad, took it out from inner dash. If you disconnect battery and prod the plus (center dot) with screwdriver till it is metal again and no corrosion it will work, atleast that was my problem. Can be done without removing lighter, is a slight pain but if you want to see what...

Broken bolt and Boa Grabit to the rescue but what mains power drill is this on photo?

You are right, while on photo it is a broken bolt of a bracket for Sr20 clutch cable (quite heavy stuff, also 12mm thread) that came out with a lot of ease this way. But since I do not have such a drill and it seems that it also won't go easy everywhere, I decided to go the mig welding route...

Broken bolt and Boa Grabit to the rescue but what mains power drill is this on photo?

No I don't want to buy any drill but I can borrow a battery Makita but the person who lend me drill in picuture told me this screw extractor works well with powered drill with high torque low speed. And by removing radiator I can atleast try one broken thread to remove with manifold still...

Broken bolt and Boa Grabit to the rescue but what mains power drill is this on photo?

Years ago I borrowed two items and it was a Boa Grabit and it served me well. Amazon has it for such a low price they can not give free shipping for it ;) https://www.amazon.nl/gp/product/B07HK74SQT/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A1RNN7PMHEAYEU&psc=1 Here is a photo of the drill I used, can you...

Adjusting CG13DE with Datascan, timing gun

Okay that sounds like a good start, you know the owner (Jan). But for timing, 17 is no problem? If I remember correct, Ga16DE has to be 10 degrees +/- 2 and can be put to 15 according to Mike Kojima. 17 sounds more like Sr20 to me? Just wondering since my Micra is at 13 degrees to be on the safe...

Adjusting CG13DE with Datascan, timing gun

Hi there, I happen to have a GA16DE and a SR20DE in another Nissan but I do not have the CG13DE any longer. I am aware where it's idler screw is located also I am aware what the timing marks are on the crank pulley but I will help a friend adjusting his car. Complaint is won't pull before 3000...

    Coolant expansion tank question.

Just be aware stands and garage jack like I have come cheap. Look for stands that are certified and not cast iron but welded trough. Be aware some Micra's don't like stands on the rear sils (gives quite unrepearable dents), use it's rear axle in a lower stand setting. Be warned that included...

    Coolant expansion tank question.

There are GL12 (very decent stuff) coolants $2 per liter. Changing coolant isn't exactly novice but we can talk you trough it is easy when you exactly follow up. If you have to do it on the streets a drip tray for a washing machine will do. Further just some wrenches and ratchet to be sure you...

engine side noise with reverse gear

Okay, took me a while to respond back. If you happen to have reverse br-br-br sound you might want to check your rear engine mount. It was not worn but one bolt broke and others where that lose, doing nothing. Now I still can hear something but it is more like 'old car sound' then this loud...

    Radio dead.

I wrote to just tell us if fuse is blown or not :) I recommend to not open the packing of your newly ordered radio before making sure what John says. I would start removing old radio, look in to what John said and if a question arises, just put radio back without anti theft or take it home...

    Early k11 for sale?

I get you. I just have no clue where rear sills became stronger. Though other people here will know. And if it happens so you like the not so strong rear sills Micra, it is no show stopper. It just means no mechanic may use a four coloumn (been there, car can't take this this also counts for...
