    Ninja advice!

Maybe clamp the blade in a vice and heat the couple of inches nearest the 'handle'. The heat may travel into the handle and soften the epoxy and let you pull it out. You could then fill with epoxy and re-tap :).

TOST - The Official Spam Thread

They won't catch much muck if you don't?! I use the K&N stuff - I've heard horror stories of people using WD40, engine oil etc but K&N stuff has animal lard as an ingredient that keeps it super tacky.

having trouble with my car , acceleration

When my injector went on the 160SR it knackered the cat and the lack of power was horrible - the exhaust cannot get past all the collapsed baffles and causes huge back pressure on the engine.

    Engine issues

Frank's right, get the sensors fettled as well. If it thinks the air is minus forty it will be injecting too much diesel. Also, worth cleaning out the EGR valve because it's dead easy and can prevent a dead turbo in the future. Shows you how to do it here :). Just had a quick google. First code...

    1.0 to 160SR engine swap

Sam's right, 160SR deffo has lower/stiffer suspension although I think dampers are the same. Engine code for the 160SR is HR16DE so mount's may not meet up. Don't think brakes are any different (sizewise at least). Basically if you can find a right-off that's been hit from the back and get the...

That sounds like a good idea, Nissan really like to bend you over for the price of new parts o_O.

Hi Wayne, not a job I've actually done unfortunately! If you look here, it looks like the pipe and grommet are seperate - I guess the actually rusty part of the filler is part of the wing, have you got a pic? The lens is changeable but I believe the front bumper has to come off, again something...

    Oil Change

Mmmm, I guess for the K11 given their age. Most modern cars are 5w30 and the Americans are really getting into 0w20 o_O.

    Oil Change

I'm inclined to agree but if it meets the correct ACEA spec's it should be fine. The stuff I got was ACEA B4 (for Euro-IV diesels) and the brand was triple QX :).

    Oil Change

Why do K11'ers always go for 10w40? I thought Nissan recommended 5w30 - they even recommend it for my Renault engine (although I use 5w40 'cos it's a diesel :p).

    Oil Change

Have a look at the Eurocarparts website, they've got some ridiculous savings on oil at the moment. I got 5L of fully synth Renault approved oil for £12.49 :) !

    turbo build

Azzy, mrcheese is correct. It's the VVT sprocket on the K12 engine that needs compressed air. K11 is standard cam pulleys :).
