The SPAX sport range of dampers are gas filled and uprated when compared to the standard Nissan dampers. They will improve the handling and make the car noticably better in corners and general handling, if you can afford some springs then this would top off the handling and ride.
Nissan used a 4.4:1 final drive in 1.0 litre Micra's from about June 98 onwards
You can just about count the number of teeth on the crown wheel when looking through the drain plug. You need to count 76 teeth for the 4.4:1 final drive, if you count 74 you have a 3.8:1 final drive, if you count...
Lowering springs
We have only managed to get some 80mm rear springs sorted which will be used mainly for competition. This leaves approx 20mm of travel on the rear trailing arms before they hit the bump stops.
We had problems trying to sort the fronts out so the spring would sit on the strut...
