Make sure you've got some specialist insurers on that list. An average insurance company will shaft you for it.
I had to explain to my last insurance company what a remap was :rolleyes: After 25 minutes the guy on the phone told me he wouldn't cover me if my car was mapped.
I usually find this is the best way. I had the same thing happen on my Mk1 Focus. I just hammered a screwdriver in and turned it from there :D Sometimes violence IS the answer.
I'm absolutely loving the new look.

Nice score. I always found it interesting to go from a non rev counter to a rev counter, and match what I knew as the sound of the engine to the actual revs!
