In need of ideas any mods either body or engine only thing is needs to be nice and cheap (1st year apprentice wage) but open to any and all ideas

All I can suggest is go through the blogs on here. There's a variety of different things you can do.

But a good service is your best start if you haven't already done so

Oooh...on a cheap budget eh...

How about a nice SR/Super S spoiler? (I may just know where one is for sale hmm!) 4 alloys with 195,45,15s. Colour code mirrors with a can of spray, nice set of seat covers, leather steering wheel cover, ebay a blue light dash conversion, new stereo, remove and replace your k.nob...Green filter in your airbox, paint your rear window buttons to colour code if its a 3dr, which looks nice.

To make your car last, buy 2 tins of Waxoyl and do the inside and outside of your sills, arches and your cross member, you wont regret it as although we love them, they are rust magnets!

Peter Lloyd do rallying exhausts. With a normal manifold and your front catalyst it should sound nice but not to loud I'd of thought.
