Z10 Alpha Cube HKS Turbo conversion breaking K11 Parts CGA, Uprated rad, CVT, seat rail, wheels

Hi guys/gals.

For those that don't know the Z10 cube is based on the K11 so pretty much every mechanical part is the same and the Cube has extra's like electric folding mirror, ABS, A/C etc and coming from Japan everything is in good condition/low mileage.

Rare JDM B.I.M DHS made by Bridgestone 15x6.5 ET34- they're top quality one piece wheels in white, some slight bits of curbing, nothing major and just wear to the paint as to be expected, overall very nice condition though. Doubt you'll find another set over here anytime soon.

JDM seat rail for bucket seat with blue tip slider- excellent condition, direct fit for a Micra Bride etc £50

CGA3 bare block will need honing £40

CGA3 Cylinder head complete except for cams £50

CVT gearbox good condition £100

K11 Specific Speaker parcel shelf and b pillar plastics with tweeters (rare optional extras) £40 for both parcel shelf has a crack and some scuffs but could be repaired, still useable.

JDM AUTO RAD - larger than K11 ones so ideal upgrade, good condition- no bent/missing fins etc £50

JDM OEM wind deflectors (retrofit to 4 doors?) £40

Minus a few parts like bolts, shells, gaskets, sump its more or less a complete engine in bits- the head is complete apart from covers and all the main parts are there.

Will include anything I find.

Make me a fair offer mate.

I've also got a complete (and running fine when removed) CG13 minus sump and cam covers-covered 60k approx

Our car is a dizzy 1.0, so ideally we would like just the CG13 for it actually instead of the CGA3 just to make our job a little easier

So would that just bolt straight in, same as the CG13? Plan was to build a 1.3 turbo with 1.0 bits to make it lighter etc so would the CGA3 still be suitable? Would prefer the CG13 as I know it works just

was it the cube alpha engine ? with 4 branch manifold and better cams

Yes Frank. Except it didn't have the 4 branch because it was replaced with a HKS manifold for the turbo conversion. I'm probably going to end up using for head for a fresh build if it doesn't sell to go in my cube eventually.

Rash developments as far as I know they bolt straight in- not sure which parts you mean with making a 1.3 turbo with 1ltr parts to make it lighter though?

Yeah that's cool, I'm happy to let the CG go for £100 on it's own if that's any good to you? Like I say though it doesn't have cam covers or sump and will come bare unless you wanted extra parts to go with it.

the inlet cam would fetch a good price then, and pistons too if thats how nissan raised the c/r

yes the inlet cam was pretty wild, and the exh cam milder than stock for some reason, and i,m guessing the dish is a tad smaller on those high comp engines, but made from the same chocolate
i had some lpg pistons from a CG13 forklift engine, they were flat topped and about 12:1 c/r ( i blew the ringlands in 1 week )

Weird how they made the ex cam milder ain't it, will keep hold of the inlet cam though.
Ah was hoping they might have been a bit tougher or at least designed differently.
I'm a bit reluctant to chuck boost at a stock engine with it being my daily. Are corsa pistons noticeably stronger/worth fitting frank?

the corsa ones were just made from a better alloy imo mate, i could hear this pitted piston detting like mad but the ringlands were fine and i reused it

Gonna use the lighter flywheel and crank pulley along with the 1.0 box, it's a trackday/Hillclimb build so that's the easiest way.

Have to check with my mate here (I'm only one half of Rash Developments haha) but it's looking like we're going to take that CG13, have all the ancillaries here from the current car so not too worried about them unless you've anything special or useful

Ah, good idea with the pulley and flywheel- I'm going to get a lightened pulley, with them not being dampened it makes sense.

the compression height is about 4mm short iirc, but the little end is the same interference fit, there are a couple of blogs on here

You got any of this stuff kicking about for the cube I know it’s been quite a while but you never know lol
