would 225 tyres fit my micra

hey guys,i know i can fit 205/40/17 on but me uncle has sum 225/40/17's but i didnt know if they would fit. does any 1 know ????

unless your uncle live other side of the uk then just try them out to see.
at a guess i would say they would be too wide. offset is hugely important aswell.
but anyway i dont think a 1.2 urbis would propel a 225 17" tyre very well.

I have a 215/60/14 tyre on my K11, and it rubs like mad on full lock!
