the weathering strip is starting to peel off around my windscreen, had quotes from windscreen companies to fix it but they are very expensive and could result in the windscreen being broken. I don't want to claim on insurance being a young driver. just wondered if anyone knew any cheap fixes for this problem?

just claim it on your insurance,itl cost you between £60-£70 as an excess,and this wont affect your no claims,the excess price is the cost of new o.e window seals from nissan alone.
