Window Tinting

I have been thinking about tinting the back 3 windows of my Micra, is this easily done or am I better getting it done properly? Anyone any experience with this?

What sort of tint should I be looking for and what's a decent price?

Mine cost about £80 for all three rear windows. The rear is very awkward the company said as it's curved both horizontally and vertically. Also I wanted a professional looking job.

Yea I heard its difficult to do a curved window, have to heat the tint to shrink it on to the window

If its only about 80 quid I'll probably just get it done professionally

Absolutely mate. It's not even worth trying yourself for £80. The company said from £80. First time I've had a car that qualified for the minimum price. Haha.

Could be tempted to do it myself for that price haha

But most likely get done locally if i can get somone to do it around that price and save me the bother

I bought some over a year ago and haven't got around to doing it yet.

Precut tints arent a very good job , tinting takes practise to get it perfect , heat gun is good to have and you need to have the window super clean , if i were you id get someone to do it for you , your first attempt wont be perfect or may not be any good , best having it looking profesional
