Whine in first gear 1.6 c+c 2005

Hi there I have just got a micra 1.6 c+c and it has a whine in first gear but goes as soon as I change into second or any other gear I also have like an over rev even when I put the clutch down it takes ages for the revs to come down any ideas any help is much appreciated thank you hello any help will be very grateful

They all whine. Mine whines in first... my mother has had two Micras, and they whine in first too. They also whine in second, but just not as noticeable.

Can't help with teh throttle hang, sorry, but at least this has bumped your post so maybe someone can answer your question.
