which is better???

at the moment my funds are limited!!!
so which is better... a manifold with standard stystem,
or standard manifold with free flowing exhaust???

i can get both for £350ish.
(£200 - manifold)
(£150 - free flowing exhaust)

but to start with which is better???

any advice on the better one and makes will be greatly appricated!!!

To start, the catback system would release a bit of power, but don't expect much as there are 2 cats in the Micra. One is built into the stock headers

Best option would be to wait until you can get them both done at once

is the hole exhaust system made of 3 peices??

so when i get the hole system will it make it quite a bit better or is it not really noticeable??

any other things i could do that are reasonabley cheap??

Well from personal experience with literally all the combinations you could dream of with exhaust solutions (standard manifold & aftermarket cat back exhaust, aftermarket manifold with standard cat back exhaust, aftermarket manifold & aftermarket cat back exhaust as well as 100% standard exhaust system) I would recommend getting a 2" cat back exhaust (cat back refers to the new exhaust pipe being 2" from the catalytic converter to the rear muffler, or backbox as you pommie lads like to call it).

WHile a manifold does make a noticeable improvement with the standard cat back exhaust - the gains from an aftermarket cat back are much more noticeable and "balanced" imo.

On that note the micras standard cat converter is pretty good. I wouldnt change it unless i had to.
