which belts are needed

Hi All, My K11 1998 model which has no PAS or air bags, A/C requires new belts I've been able to find one 'V' belt for the water pump without A/C but am uable to find a 'V' belt for alternator without PAS. I wrote a thread about nosie in engine bay and my mechanic told me that my belts a dry & old and that is more likely to have caused the nosie. Can anyone help? Peter0003

Can you read the code / number on the existing belt? If so just look for that.
If not then the first number probably a 4 refers to the number of ribs on the belt, the next is the length of the belt in mm.
Failing that take the existing belt to a parts place and ask them or compare directly with the prospective replacement.
