What are the dangers of putting steel wheels on backwards? i could always use hub centering rings and a few washers so it would sit flush.
What about something like banded steelies? Anyone know who does them or where to buy them in Aus? Seems like there are loads of places in the uk that do them.

More like: Everyone get's frank2 to do them for their K11's ;)

I looked into custom steelies about ~5 years ago though never followed through with it. I was told that ROH might be able to provide hoops or do the job.

Realistically you could probably take a set in to someone who knows how to cut/weld and get them to do it for you then get your tyres fitted and balanced afterward. That said, it's something you really want done *properly* as it'd be pretty catastrophic to have a weld on a wheel fail if your wheel hits something at high speed and splits.

Don't put them on backwards - they won't sit properly, might foul on other stuff and is just generally a BadIdea(tm). Do NOT use washers to space it out. I've seen people flip steelies for fun but only to take photos. It would be dangerous to drive.
