Wheel Alignment After Lowering??

Hi,

Car has been lowered 35mm all round. Its been about a week now since the work was done. Wondering how necessary is it to get a wheel alignment? And should I get all 4 wheels aligned as opposed to just the front wheels?

Car does pull very slightly to the left but has been like that ever since I got it, lowering didn't change this.

I lowered mine by the same amount, never aligned the wheels and she drove fine.
The pull to the left is the torque coming through the drive wheels, and completely normal.

Nah it will be fine. Can't adjust micras stock suspension in the way that lowering would affect anyway. My tracking was set before and it's still only a tenth of a percent out after. You do know 4 wheel alignments are only good as an exercise in spending money uselessly don't you? There is no adjustment for the rear

Haha yes I got a few quotes from garages for 4 wheel alignment and only one garage told me that Micra rear wheels can't be aligned! The others didn't think to mention it, yet have given a quote for the 4 wheel alignment of the region £40-£60!

Thanks for the advice everyone, I'll just leave it the way it is then. And by the way, can confirm 35mm lowering springs make a huge difference to handling and reduces body roll massively. Car feels like a guided missile compared to what it used to be like!

That's pretty normal, trying to drum up more business. It's fairly easy to learn how to do tracking, haven't had to put it into practice on mine yet though. My dad's old car, the Peugeot 309, was a bitch for going off when it hit the slightest bump. Every few months we'd have to track it with the lasers and long bits of timber.

All lowering will do it make the lower arms sit slightly more level, won't affect the tracking in the slightest.

If you're looking to reduce body roll, by rights that's the job of the anti roll bar and not the springs. But yes they do help, I can confirm too

Would say check it. As well as the offset of the rear axle
Can get cheap tracking kits off eBay or tape measure
Better off checking then driving it with it out , and could say on tyres
