What's the typical clutch life on a 1.2?

I know it's very driver dependent, but what's a typical mileage they last?

The bite point on ours is near the top of the pedal, and just wondering if the clutch is at the end of it's life, or something needs adjusted or bled.
Mileage is 73,000 miles.

clutch life is between 60000, and 120000 miles dependent on use, as long as it works keep with it but check for replacement and keep that information by you, if you need to replace, juddering and engine slip are main issues to watch for.

If it is hydraulic you may try bleeding the mechanism, but you will need a vac system to do this properly, check with the manual for your specific model?(y)

Bleeding would make it worse if there was air in it, as air would mean the pedal travels further before the clutch moves.
Will have a poke about if the rain stays off today.

The free downloadable manual will help with clutch tolerances for your car including clutch pedal free play and clutch problems, this forum can only advise general views.:)

I have the haynes manual. The point I was making was that if there was air in the system then the bite point would be lower or too low as you need to compress the air before the clutch moves. If the bite point is right at the top then bleeding would only make that worse if there was air in the system.

And it appears that the bleed nipple is on the slave cylinder, so not handy for bleeding.
