What's the difference between 1999 and 2001 headlights?

Guys, is there any difference in the light output between
the 1999 headlight:

and
the 2001 one:

The later one looks like it has a "modern" construction and looks really good.

Do they have the same mounting? I mean, would it be possible to fit a '01 headlights on a '99 K11?

No different i'd imagine, light output'd be the same, just the face plate thats slightly different.

the 99 ones fit on my 01 k11 so i would assume it would work the other way round
