Put $3000 towards the micra to keep it going for another few years until you've got $28,000 to spend on a car, then go and knock yourself out with a new Polo GTi.

Standard they are definately a compromise towards comfort rather than outright performance (like most new cars, heh).

However, the engine is infact what was used in the last model Golf and a few Audi's. There's a boatload of performance gear suitable for them. The engine has afterall be bumming about in VW's and Audi's for close to 10 years.

And something a little more civil and closer to home!

Quite impressive.

yeah its the 20v turbo engine. they do two types of these (1 less powerfull than the other) loads of vw tuners have been putting these engines in pretty much every vw you can think of for years. theyre are actually a take on the very first golf gti engines (1.8) with a turbo snd revised slightly obviously. the tuning potentiol of these are massive and teh reliability of these has been proven again and again. that car should be a bit of an animal.

I like the inis sport better, but its more that I have something against vw, as 1 on 3 cars around here is one. I personally like the new suzuki swift, love the shape of the front. There's a 1.5 16v which delivers 75kw, its about 970 kilo's though... Just sharing some thoughts.

I found a bit of a *misleading* picture of the car.
