Ok, when I get in my car in the mornings, I'll turn the key just before the start click (last click before the starter motor kicks in), and I'll get all my warning lights testing.
Then I can hear something making a kind of motory, bubbling noise from the back of the car, I'm convinced this is the fuel pump, it happens every time I do it, then there'll be a click noise like a switch and the noise will vanish, and if I turn the ignition off and on again, I'll hear it..
Also when I start my car in the mornings, there's quite the little petrol smell, and the car appears to be revving at about 2, until the engine warms up then it settles to idle at 1.
Any idea what the noise and revving is?
Also, sorry to double post here, but when the engine is cold and I drive off, if I put my foot more than a half way down the car will stutter for a second or so then I'll gain loads of power and lose some gradually then when it is warm the car is about average..?
