you should try auto glym 'super resin polish' http://www.autoglym.com/engb/product-proddetail.asp?v06VQ=HD&Range=1v gets rid of swirls, scratches and moderate tree sap and tar etc. does a really nice job and is as competitively priced as anything from carplan/ simoniz.
