Water Pump Drive Belt

I seem to remember that access to one bolt was a real pain, but I was only doing it with an adjustable spanner...

Like you, I don't have a tensioner bolt that I can see. Did you manage to tension your belt in the end? If so, how?

(Mine's got a power steering pump. The only way I can see to tension it is to loosen the pump somehow and lever it outwards??)

PAS/Water pump drive belt - No Tensioner present?

1999 1.0, PAS, No AirCon. I went to do a drivebelt service today. The alternator belt came off with no fuss but when it came to the PAS/Water Pump belt I was surprised to find that there was no tensioner pulley to slacken off. Haynes says there should be one and the Nissan Workshop manual says...
