Mate of mine is selling these off his polo, here is his ad
Much though I love my Watanabes, I had the opportunity to pick up a set of Revolution RFX wheels so I've decided to sell them.
Spec on these is as follows:
WHEELS
Watanabe RS-8 split rims (two-piece)
14x6.5in - quite hard to find wheels in this size, and ideal for a pre-94 Polo
4x100PCD, and will come with spigot rings for VW centre bore (57.1mm)
ET35
5.1kg per corner (no tyres) so really light
They had a refurb before I bought them, and have only been fitted to my car since. I've only done about 2,000 miles on these, so they're still mint. The centres are gloss black, and the lips are silver (not polished). All of the bolts are fresh, but there are no centre caps. I'm led to believe centre caps were an option on Watanabes because they're basically track wheels - most of them don't seem to have caps anyway.
Here's what the finish looks like up close:
The only bad bit is one wheel has a small (couple of inches) flat spot where the last owner dropped it (onto carpet) while they were being stored. It's just the very lip of the wheel so barely noticeable with tyres on, and doesn't leak air or make any rumbling noise.

TYRES
I've got a set of tyres which came with my new wheels. Ideal to get you rolling, but optional.
Fronts are on 185/50 Dunlop Sports (£70 apiece) which have done less than 1,000 miles, they've got an almost identical sidewall depth to 195/45s which is what I've run on these.

Rears are Pirelli P6000s which are legal but have 2mm legal tread left - but they're 185/60s so could cause clearance issues on an old Polo. I'm basically throwing the Pirellis in for free as a way of getting you rolling, but if you'd prefer I can leave these off and just supply the Dunlops. Up to you!

PRICE
£250ono for the wheels - will throw the tyres in (fitted) for £30 if you want them.
Wheels are located in Kettering, but I go home to visit my family in Cardiff fairly regularly so can meet there. Also happy to meet near St Albans after work during the week.
PM or mail me (spearmintcoupe at aol dot com) if you're interested.
