i took some out of an engine in a yard today (they had sold the sump) and left them soaking in our steamcleaner fluid for a few hours

dunno glen, i paid £30 for them + the flywheel (the sought after 1st facelift 1.0 one)
i was after a headgasket and bigger turbo, but the gasket separated and the td06 was waaay too big lol

they owe me too much tbh glen, 15 mile trip, and best part of 1 hr to strip the engine, and then heat the rods on the gasring and jig the pins out.
if the damn H/G had been ok it would have been worth while selling the pistons eh let me see if i can get some more next week
