Hi all well your probably wondering why im actually on here, with driving a competing car etc... but theres a couple of reasons i am.
firstly, is to say hello to a guy I see around in Nottingham in a rather nice K11, which i have done, and secondly for a bit of help for a mate who owns a K10, which isnt in the best of conditions, nor does he live near me, but id like to help him nonetheless.
well also, i drove a K12 as a courtesy car and it was horrible, i wanted to die, however the engine wasnt too bad, and the CD player was nice (11-plate N-Tec)
so here goes!
(pulled up bits from YCUK so sorry it wont kame much sense, but the pictures are nice!!)
As its a first car, dont expect me to be doing much, first things first is gonna be a de-badging, jap plates (i think its japanese import from the front bumper recess) and maybe some stickers, not much tho!
then I HAVE to get rid of the steels :/
heres a pic of it, I think some friends who have SLR cameras are gonna come round tomorrow or something
what do you lot think?
debadged the reat TOYOTA and the D4D badges, gonna keep the Yaris badge and the T-Spirit badge maybe.
They will go for sure when i get vitz badges.
Status:Error sticker looks goo,d re-did the dash and gearknob propperly, and the fuel filler cap got carbon'd!
UPDATE
had a crash:
big update!
apart fromt hat some little fook stole my badge last night!
a whole 9p all in for the deceptecons badge!
well kids, if i were to put it on jap wheels, id loose my arches completely, and i love the steels, and the way it sits on them!
air filter was basically a cobbled attempt because i was looking for a MAF adapter, but realised that my airbox's MAF sensor piping is not part of the airbox itself, i just cut it off with a hacksaw. then the filter was too big, so we sized it up with electrical tape, but on the test drive my filter pretty much fell off, so me, Symo and Aidan did this magical thing where we used some IKEA shelving, a Trust Greddy pipe and some cable ties and made a full fitting air filter kit.
works a charm, gives some great turbo whistle and intake noise and also cost me less than a tenner, stick that up your typhoon and hydrolock it!
tuck
lows
hard
as it sits now!
i hope you all like
