VHF Radio

Heya

You may remember me saying that I was going to wire the VHF Radio into my car (some time ago). Anyway, for the power supply, the most effective way is wiring directly to the battery (Not the accessory line!).

The problem i am facing is how to get the wires from the "cab" into the engine bay so I can connect these.

Does anyone know if there is a hole of somesort between the car and engine bay

On a K11 there is a large rubber gromit than you can go through into the passenger footwell. Should be somewhere below the fuel filter, put a hole in it and feed a wire through.

open the bonnet loo down at the passenger side of the fire wall there should be a rubber plug there its behind the glove box the carpet covers it so just fiddle about till the wires go through then shazam job is done

Thank you for the replies - have now found the grommit and will begin the work when I have a spare day or so! lol
