very little air coming from vent

hi guys
I have a k11 and when i put my heating on high very little air is coming out. It does this with hot or cold air. However, when i look under the passenger seat there seems to be more air coming out their than the vents. I am trying to replace the vent air filter by removing the clip and taking out 2 screws but it wont come out. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

there should be a few threads on here (with pics) about the pollen filter

You have to take off the glove box and cut the plastic behind and pull towards you ( yes cut the plastic!)
