vauxhall wheels on a micra?

just wondering if anyone has ever had vaux wheels on a k10 before? got a set of old cavalier wheels that would look quite retro when polished, i know the centre bores to small (nothing a dremel cant sort) but what about the offset? i know there et49 which is wrong, but would a 10mm spacer work? i just dont understand how et's relate to mm's if you get what i mean, cheers for any help

I had a set of nova alloys on mine they where only 14x5 but had 49 et they seemed to be plenty of room. The only problem would be centre bore. I tried dremeling but it took forever to do one wheel so I gave up lol

et49 means that the lug face (where the wheel sits on the hub) is 49mm towards the face of the wheel from the centre of the wheel
