Urgent help, exhuast info

I hope someone can help, my insurance company are querying the insurance on my car, they want to know details of the full Janspeed exhaust system on my car, i.e value and especailly how much extra horspower it gives my standard SR, it has a cat in it, can someone tell me some reliable fugures to tell the insurance company please? Causing me hassle, I like my exhaust tho sounds great

I think the exhaust new is somewhere around £600 and from what I have read from the forum, it gives around 15bhp extra. Hope that is right and hope it helps.

Cheers mate, that helps. by the way if anyone is thinking of getting the Janspeed it's sounds great but mine is rusty now, not impressed by that.

i had a manifold crack on every seam on the pipes, and it like a year old

full system can give up to 25bhp, with a decent cold air in take

Got my insurance declined cos I couldn't give an accurate figure, insurace company didn't belive it could be an extra 15-25bhp with just an exhaust, oh well Adrian Flux can insure me cheaper and with less silly questions.
