I can't open my boot from the outside and the only way I can open it is through the boot which isn't practical. Is there any way I can fix this problem? Does anyone know of this happening before?
It is a known issue. There was a recall on some K12's for issues with the boot lock, whereby water was getting into the mechanism and corroding it. It doesn't sound like the lock itself is at fault, if you can open it from the inside.
