the tyres on my 7x15s have had it, i've been offered some 185/55s for next to nothing, will they be ok as regards to rubbing/clearance, and would they upset the speedo accuracy much?

using this site, they will be over 5 percent larger than normal and will put your speedo way out. not sure about clearance though.
