Tyre Size

I have decided on 14" wheels for the Micra, what tyres can I use on a 14" rim? 185/55 R14? 205/45 R14? I want a size that I'm not going to struggle to get tyres and aren't going to cost me a fortune.

14s is the size of the wheel so width is totally different. not sure but 195/45/15 sounds okay.

yer but 195 is the width so he could have a width of 195mm tyres or 185mm tyres and 45 is the percentage of width which is size of sidewall.

185/55R14 tyre is the best 14"and there are plenty cheap enough or a 185/60R14 tyre this is the second best and should be cheaper still.

the more wider the tyre and the more thiner the wall of tyre the more it will be.
