tyre question

I've just bought some 14 inch rims (i wanted 15's but anyways) and they need tyres.

What I want to know is why are 185's so difficult to get for 13 and 14 inch rims?
The best I can get is 165/60H14 which if you ask me just isn't wide enough. Any suggestions?

You need some 185/55R14 tyres. You should have a problem picking up some of these. Firestone or Bridgestone, must tyre makes will list this size.

Oh ok I thought they were a bit big and would put the speedo out. I guess my current tyre are too small lol

185/55/14s are what I run, speedo still under-reads lol.

I wanted 185/50s really, but couldnt find many.

Yer 185/55/14 Toyo CF1s ftw! Cost me £190 the set fitted from blackcircles.
I would have also liked 50 profile but there is only 1 brand that seem to make them.

Same here, awesome tyres and such a great price for a set fitted. The handling in the dry (with other mods) is incredible!
