Tyre help

Right I need some decent tyres, I currently have 185/65 r14's which brands are irrelevant as the tyres are too big.

I've narrowed it down to...
185/50 Yokohama a539 at £70+
175/50 sonar s505 at £30+
165/60 kumho kh17 at £35+

I'm leaning more towards the Sonar's but reviews (higher spec'd cars) aren't good.

What do you guys reckon, what would you go with?

I'd go for 175/50, they're a good size.

Go kumho bud, although classed as budget they outperform most others from that price range.

The thing is the sonars have been likened to nankangs a brand which I rate quiet highly

Haven't heard much of sonars so would need to look more into them. Why not go nangkangs?

They don't do any of these sizes, I have however found that maxxis do the ma-z1 in 185/50

Sod that then, I don't want to be paying out for tyres that often

May sound silly but these Pirelli p300's have been mint! Loads a grip and have worn really well!

If I'm honest the 165's are too narrow for my liking

175/65/14's but have a look and see if they do a different profile...
