Tuning on a budget

hello all i new to the site so any info is a great help im an aprentice mechanic (so i dont earn alot ..) but i can do the work myself, im looking to tune my 1.3 Si micra, i have about a grand or so to spend and i want to get the best preformance i can for as little money as i can .. as im only 19 .. insurace is a killer !!! bt we will keep them out of this haha any info big or small is a great help

induction Kit , Frank Manifold , Decat and sports back box , bought all these from the forum less than 120 quid and made a big difference sounds beefier and probaly got around 6hhp more at a conservative guess , thefrank manifold should be around that figure on its own , good luck with it .

a lightened flywheel is a cheap effective mod if you diy and can borrow a lathe jeremy (Y)

thnks for the help yeah witch would u recomend a K&N replacement filter or an induction kit ?? and as for this manifold how much n where do i get one ?? also a lightend flywheel could be quite a good option as icould be doing the clutch on the car soon .. she feels a little iffy aha
