tip on changing rear wheel stud,

hi guys
i got some new 13 bbs rims but the standard stud on the rear drum is too short for it so i ordered some longer stud.

wonder if any of you changed their stud before? any tip?

things like do i take the hub off the car? open the drum? or just hammer the stud out? and most importantly how to you get the new stud on?

i just hammerd mine out and pressed the new ones in

the stud has a knurled bit near the head which bites into the hub, so you need to take the drum off and bash the stud inwards

Changed mine too. all front and back stud bolts... from 1.25 (nissan) to 1.5 treadsize... So that my 17s special lug nuts would fit...

Just take off the Tire/Rims. Remove the drum cover, then hammer the studs gently inwards...

tish. thats what i was thinking about doing as well, as i got some very nice racing nuts in 1.5 treadsize.

so there is no special tools required for this job!? just want to make sure
