Timing Chain or Belt

I have just bought a 1999 1.3i Nissan Micra twin cam and as I have not owned one before trying to work out if it has a belt or chain. It has covered 48k, can anyone let me know as I am getting different answers from google and ask.com and not sure if it needs replacing. Engine runs superb, no rattles or knocks.

They are a chain, but the tensioners will wear out over time
