Throttle Body

I was browsing on ebay like ya do, and i came across this item:

What mainly got me thinking is how this person has had it 'modified' with the knife edge on the butterfly and polished etc. etc. and it left me with two questions:

1. What kind of gains could you expect from changing the body alone on a micra?

2. What would be the best throttle body for the k11? Or will its performance be limited by the inlet manifold no matter what?

Dont worry im not about to buy something i know little about, thought id just toss that out there.

Just realised thats three questions.

i doubt if knife edging the butterfly makes any difference (its a fraction of the width of the spindle)
my primera t/b made a big difference when running on gas, but its hard to tell if there,s any gain when on petrol
